Main Shopping Section
By now you will have read, 'Navigation Menu Explained' and 'Your HomePage Explained' so you should have managed to navigate to the main Shopping section of Quids In UK without any problems.

The main Shopping section is split up into categories and sub-categories, these are designed to help you find what you are looking for quickly and easily or just to browse a category you may be interested in.

At the top of the page you will see a link which says 'Click Here to Search Quids in UK Offers' clicking that link will affect the search drop down. The search function is connected to the main Quids In UK search engine and will search the majority of Quids In UK including all Shopping titles and descriptions. When performing a search, you should be aware that searching for one word would produce more results than searching for a string of three or four. For example: If you were looking for a new internet service provider, you could search for 'Broadband' or 'Internet' rather than 'Internet service provider'.

Below the search box are three links: [ New | Popular | Top Rated ]

• New: Here you can see what new retailers have been added to our database in the last week, 2 weeks or 30 days.
• Popular: Here you will find a list of the most popular retailers at Quids In UK. Popularity is gauged by how many times a link has been clicked.
• Top Rated: Here you can see the top rated retailers. Ratings go from 1 (lowest) - 10 (highest), a retailer has to have been voted on at least once to appear in this list. Members can rate a retailer, however, we only encourage members to rate retailers they have used.

Below this are the Shopping categories. The main category titles appear in bold and at the top of each box in the main Shopping section, the sub-categories appear beneath the main category titles. Clicking on any of the main category titles or sub-category titles will take you to the list of shops specific to that category or sub-category.

Category and Sub-Category Sections
The main category and sub-category sections are set out almost identically, the only difference is, at the top of each of the main category sections is a list of links to the sub-category sections, if there are any.

There is a small drop down box at the top of each category page which allows you to sort the retailers in that category. Retailers can be sorted by:

• Shops Ascending: This will sort the retailers by title (A-Z).
• Shops Descending: This will sort the retailers by title (Z-A).
• Popularity Ascending: This will sort the retailers by Popularity (Least to Most Hits).
• Popularity Descending: This will sort the retailers by Popularity (Most to Least Hits).
• Rated Ascending: This will sort the retailers by Rating (Lowest to Highest Scores).
• Rated Descending: This will sort the retailers by Rating (Highest to Lowest Scores).
• Date added Ascending: This will sort the retailers by Date (Oldest to Newest).
• Date added Descending: This will sort the retailers by Date (Newest to Oldest).

Below the sorting box are the retailers. They each have their own table which is split into three sections:

• Your CashBack: Next to 'Your Cashback' will be the total amount of cashback you can earn from this retailer, whether it be displayed as a percentage or a cash amount. Below this you will see a small image, which is usually different for each retailer, this image acts a link which contains a unique tracking code.
  
  The tracking code contains our site identification code (the identification code is different for each of the affiliates we use) and your username, this works in conjunction with an internet 'Cookie' which stores the gathered information (the identification code and your username) and is placed on your browser. All of this together allows our affiliates to record where the transaction came from and who performed it, enabling us to pay you for what you do. You must go through this link, before performing any transaction with that retailer, in order for your transaction to be recorded and for us to pay you.
  
  Also, when you place your cursor over this image a 'tool tip' will be visible, this tool tip contains all of the information in the longer and more detailed description for this retailer (see 'Learn More about the Retailer' below).
  
  
• Retailer title: This is the title of the retailer. Below this is a short description. The short description usually tells you how much cashback you can earn with the retailer and a small set of instructions on how to earn the cashback.
  
  
• Tools: The tools section allows you to:

  Rate the retailer - If a retailer has never been rated by any of our members 'Rate this Retailer?' will be displayed, however, if a retailer has already been rated by one of our members a number of stars will appear. This number of stars represents the retailers current rating.

  Both 'Rate this Retailer?' and the stars act as a link which, when clicked, will take you to a page where you can give the retailer a score from 1 (Lowest) - 10 (Highest), you can also leave a comment about the retailer if you wish. Leaving a comment is not compulsory, you may just give it a rating without leaving any comments at all.
  
  Add the retailer to your favourites - By clicking the 'Add to favourites' link, you can add that retailer to your list of favourite shops. Your Favourites are listed on Your HomePage (see 'Your HomePage Explained' for more details).

  If a retailer is already in Your Favourites, 'This Shop is in your Favourites' will appear in this space instead.
  
  Learn more about the retailer - The 'Learn More' link takes you to a longer and more detailed description of that retailer. Added details may include, what that retailer sells/does and any limitations placed on transactions. It may also include more detailed instructions with regard to earning cashback from them.
  
  View a tutorial for the retailer - You can view a video flash tutorial for some of the retailers. This tutorial will take you through earning cashback, for that particular retailer, step by step. Look out for this symbol:
  
  See how many times that retailer has been visited by our members - The 'Hits' counter displays the number of times that retailers link has been clicked.

A total of twenty retailers will be displayed per category/sub-category page. If there are more than twenty retailers in one category they will be displayed on separate pages, a link will appear at the bottom of each page which, when clicked, will take you to each subsequent page in turn.
