 Many of you have had horrendous tracking results since dealtime changed to shopping.com.
We have been inundated by emails from various members and we have contacted the affiliate site quite a few times.
We were told, at first, that there had been some tracking problems, but they had all been sorted.
This doesn't seem to be the case as the results we are getting still do not reflect the amount of clicks being done.
Feedback from our members suggested that they had, had clicks tracked when they searched through dealtime, but nothing when they searched through shopping.com.
So we decided to take matters into our own hands...
We visited the affiliate site and scoured the shopping.com links to see if we could find one that directed straight to dealtime, and as luck would have it we did.
It has been tested by us and our moderators, and seems to be working and tracking acceptably.
So we will be putting the new link on the site today.
The shopping.com link will remain, to give our members the option and a 50-50 chance of having a clicked tracked.
You will still only be paid for one transaction per day though.
Because the Shopping.com and Dealtime links are effectively the same, in that they both appear under the same title, 'Shopping.com (Formerly DealtimeUK)' on the affiliate site, we have no way of knowing which link the transaction came from.
Subsequently, all Shopping.com or Dealtime transactions will appear the same in your statements, under the title, Shopping.com.
I would also like to add that the link we currently have, the one that directs straight to dealtime (on the right), may change in the future, and begin directing you to shopping.com.
If this should happen, please could you notifiy the admin or moderators immediately, so that we may rectify the situation.
